These Hall Effect sensors used in our SBF Crank Trigger Kit (CTK), are designed to read motion of ferrous targets. These sensors can be used as wheel speed sensors, driveshaft speed sensors, etc. Pull-up resistors are required based on the voltage reference your system uses. We recommend a 1k ohm resistor @ 5v and 2.2k ohm @12v.
